The NSTP Unit of The Lewis College successfully conducted its annual orientation for freshmen for Academic Year 2026–2027 at the TLC Sports Gym on July 30 and August 7, 2026.

The activity officially welcomed our incoming first-year students and prepared them for their duty toward civic consciousness and defense preparedness.

Beyond delivering essential program guidelines and legal frameworks, the two-day orientation fostered meaningful engagement and peer connection. Through an interactive ‘Human Bingo’ icebreaker, freshmen actively networked and built early camaraderie with their fellow classmates.

Anchored on the theme “Preparing Freshies for a Meaningful Journey of Service, Leadership, and Nation-Building through NSTP,” the event set a strong foundation for our students’ upcoming journey in community involvement, personal growth, and nation-building.

The said orientation is held annually in compliance with the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 9163 (NSTP Act of 2001) that requires Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to conduct an orientation at the start of the training period.
